Today was the day of never-ending Scones. I started by making Cherry Chocolate Chip Scones, only 128 of them. Then I moved onto Ginger Scones, I think there was only 140? Who knows. I took a little break and moved onto Fruit Muffins. Panned up trays of cookies. Then back to make Vanilla Bean Scones. I have no idea how many, I lost count. After that I went to lunch. At this point in the day I had gone through over 45 pounds of flour, 30 pounds of butter, 5 gallons of cream, and I did not even count the sugar. I am going to be so buff from this job. Watch out, I may actually develop some arm muscle!

After lunch I made Pastry Cream, fixed the cookie fiasco, glazed tarts, veggie prepped, and cleaned. And that was the day. I wonder if I’m making more scones again tomorrow?
