Every one has a friend that has to eat every two hours, or they become rather mean and unfriendly in an instant. I unfortunately am one of those annoying people. Or I become as Andy Mad says a “hungry hungry hippo”.
He is totally right, I am a hungry hungry hippo/monster that must eat a ridiculous amount of food everyday. This past year I have become very conscious of my diet and primarily stick to fruits/veggies/protein and no carbs. (I rarely eat carbs, and save them up for Pho and Ike’s)
With getting my wisdom teeth taken out a few days ago I’ve tried to hide my hungry hungry monster side. It doesn’t work. I THOUGHT that soft diet foods consist of smoothies, soups, applesauce and blah blah blah (yeah I’m a little hungry right now, obviously). There is only a limited amount of smoothies and soups that you can eat without feeling like you’re starving all the time.
I found this out the hard way at Mumford and Sons concert this weekend. A smoothie does not cut it for dinner. As great as the concert was, I was unbelievably hungry afterwards. You know the kind where all you think/smell/see is food. Not good. I realized after googling soft food that it include noodle, fries, and baked potatoes. After Mumford and Sons we went to Wendy’s. I had the best fries and baked potato of my life.
